DREAM IT BE IT CAREER FAIR FOR GIRLS & YOUNG WOMEN

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Soroptimist International of South Delta invites female-identifying youth to the Dream It, Be It Career Fair on March 7 at Tsawwassen Mills—a free, interactive event designed to help young women explore future career pathways and connect with inspiring female role models from across the community.  Over 30 role models will be present including representatives from aviation, architecture, engineering, police and emergency services, health care, interior design, politics, travel, landscaping, court services, naturopathic and nuclear medicine; seniors care, politics, sheriff and border services; prosthetics and orthotics; midwifery and many more.

Young women will have the chance to meet women professionals one-to-one from a wide range of fields, ask questions and discover possibilities they may not have considered. Alongside meeting with the career role models, participants can also join two hands‑on workshops focused on learning practical tools for managing their futures – Balancing Your Stress and Rising Above Obstacles.
